If you're a true Weird Al fan, you'll know this is where the real magic is. Al's band is probably among the most talented group of artists in the world, and Al's songwriting chops, combined with his sharp wit, combine to form his best stuff. The parodies are fun, and often brilliant, but the originals are amazing.

For the first time in my life, I live nowhere near a tour stop. I can't believe you're skipping Las Vegas. Completely heartbroken. Plus you're skipping all of FL and the gulf coast? Thousands of fans feel neglected today. I'm shocked.
Why would anyone be upset? He made it explicitly clear that this is what this tour is, and it won't be for everyone. But if you own any of his albums or are even generally aware of him outside of the brief moments of national buzz when he releases a new album, you're pretty pumped for this tour.

...and that's supposed to DETER Weird Al fans? Honestly, I'm even more interested in looking into tickets after this announcement, and I've always wanted to get out to one of these shows. I shall await these announcements with great zeal, sirs.
So....much like the way you used to tour in the late 80s early 90s when you played in small venue theaters and had stand up comedians performing opening acts.I can dig it. I love your original songs. SO...when/if you make it to the Dallas TX area...I would be honored to buy a ticket or two....
This is awesome. Look I love the 'normal' weird al concert experience.. it's amazing.. but I've seen it dozens of times. I'd be very happy to see something different especially if we get to hear some of the more obscure stuff. I'm also a big fan of Emo Philips (obviously) so that's just icing on the cake.. Really looking forward to this.

My autistic daughter went last year. She was 5 at the time, and I was so worried she wouldn't be able to handle all the loud noise and people. She just loves Weird Al. Totally obsessed. She did great. She sat through the entire show with a perma-grin. I hope he'll be close enough we can take her again.
Two years ago tomorrow we saw Al live for the first time ever! Well worth the money and I got a hug from him after the show! Hope he comes back to the Netherlands soon!
You performed at Timberwolf Ampitheater at Kings Island in 1983. Your show was absolutely fantastic, with the costume changes and jumping around onstage with your leg behind your head! You had already done an encore and left the stage. My friend and I waited about five more minutes, and the audience has mostly left. I asked my friend, "'Did he play 'Yoda'?" Since you hadn't, I stood on the bleacher from my 12th row seat and started yelling "Yoda! Yoda!" A few others who stayed around did the same, and after five more minutes of "Yoda!Yoda!" you stepped out on stage again and said "You're serious out there, aren't you?" "YES!!!" So you performed Yoda and we had a great night!!! Thanks!!!.

Anyone else think there's a wicked kewl junkyard about a farling from Milo Murphy's house, containing most of the leftover inator parts?!As well, is it possible that Murphy's Law was responsible for foiling most of Dr. Doofensmirtz' (sp?!) plans?!
Season finale? Disney xd in Canada aired an episode monday but not yesterday or today. Hate to say it but I'll probably have to download unless we get a home release
Ok this is weird!! We just found this show like 1 hour ago... my son loves it!! it's like the first tv show that he actually sat down and watched...then this post shows up on my news feed....

Al. You were awesome last night. I hope the North Korea Polka, is included in your next album, or released as a single, or on i-Tunes. It was great.
Al, please.make a parody of "Carrying your love with me" by George Strait. Instead, it'll be called "I'm smuggling some drugs with me." Here is the Chorus: "I'm smuggling some drugs with me, west Virginia down to Tennessee, I'll be moving with this old Ford's speed, smuggling some drugs with me, with crackhead strength, I'm holding on, my methamphetamines are all gone, I've got everything I'll ever need, cause I'm smuggling some drugs with me." PLEASE MAKE IT A THING
You will always be my hero and idol. I am the weirdo that I am today because of you Al. I dressed up as you for Halloween in 3rd grade and wrote a monologue in 5th. I will always sing your versions when the originals play. Keep being you my friend!
You were one of my happy places growing up. When everything else seemed to be falling apart, I could put your tape in my Walkman & polka my little heart out. I still can't listen to that one particular song without thinking "he's gonna sit by YOU." You know the one. ❤️❤️❤️
I grew up listening to you just as much as the artists you parody, and have always had a special place in my heart for your music. I have a huge appreciation for comedy music thanks to you. Much love <3
Hope u come to Kentucky for a show soon! My son would love to see ya!!!! My hubby and I have always been a fan.

I saw him in concert at the Lewis county Washington fair in 2011 (I think! Maybe 2010). BEST CONCERT EVER!!!! He came back in 2012, but I had just had our daughter a few weeks before, so I couldn't go 😭😭😭 I keep my fingers crossed every year he'll come back 💖💖💖💖💖
I was front row for the 501st bash you were at and I collect Eiffel Tower statues. I need to make a poster of this because it looks awesome.
are you STILL on tour? boy when you say mandatory you mean it. you won't stop until every single person alive on the planet has seen the show.. (i saw your performance twice this tour.. Erie, PA & Akron, OH, you are awesome!!)

Lin-Manuel Miranda Learned About His Hollywood Star While Hanging with Weird Al Yankovic
Wow! Quite a long journey from sending homemade tapes to Dr Demento to here! Heck, I can remember as a young Dementoid thinking it was huge that you got an actual record contract. Congrats!
I've said for years that you, sir, are a true genius. Molding music to fit your vision. I've only recently discovered that other genius standing next to you there, and there's a million things he hasn't done. But just you wait!As always, White and nerdily yours. 🙂
It took you almost 40 years to get a star, but he gets his after what, 4 months? Something doesn't seem right about that... LOL

so sad that it's only for Netflix US, I would love to keep watching the show, but there is no presence of it on México :(
Not in Germany... :-( Of course Netflix offers me all sorts of things that it thinks might be good enough substitutes but nothing can compare to the incomparable Al!
Not familiar with the show, though Wikipedia has informed me that Al is the bandleader for season 5. I will have to check it out.
I'm old enough to remember actually seeing you in "Muppet Magazine". Been a fan for over 30 years. Thanks for being there for me to listen to when I got bullied mercilessly in grade school. No matter how down I was, your music always picked me up.Thank you Al!!!
Good video, and yes, most of us probably did already know most of these. Clickbait title tho. Keep on keeping on, sir. I've been a fan of yours for most of my life (at least 30 years now)
I really loved UHF. My favorite memory as a kid was my older brother (God rest his soul) took me to see a sneak preview of this movie. We laughed and enjoyed every second of it.These days, I feel like my brother is sitting with me every time I watch this film. I can still hear him laugh, too.
Fun Fact: In Captain Underpants and the Tyrannical Retaliation of the Turbo Toilet 2000, Weird Al writes a song about the heroism of Melvin Sneedly.Never thought I'd see the day he actually DID write a song about Captain Underpants itself, though!
You are doing the theme song?? ... Great. Now I am contractually obligated by my fandom of you to see this movie. Thanks a lot, AL!(Can't wait to hear the song when I go see it.)
Fucking took forever for them to finally release a movie of captain underpants lol, remember reading his books when I was in elementary school, this shit is hilarious.

Love, love, love Weird Al! Adam Sandler, not so much. How can you not worship the genius who gave us "The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota"? Which, I hate to brag, I've seen...twice! I've seen Weird Al in concert 4 times, and knew every word to every song. (Which, unfortunately, embarrassed the hell out of my niece)
made it through about 10 minutes of that movie before we shut it off....adams losing his touch. his voice characters are funny as SKITS...but when it's a whole movie it's annoying.
i can't find any info, can anyone clarify if Sandy is a nickname for the surname Sandler, cos his old manager really looks like Adam Sandler

Oh. Hmph. I figured we'd be getting some of the really rare stuff, like Avocado and all the other songs that you can only hear from people recording them at concerts. I guess having studio recordings of all of Al's songs from cartoons is pretty nice, but it's really not enough to convince me to buy a box set that costs my average paycheck.
The video description says 23 tracks, but the video only lists 22. Mistake, or intentionally leaving one track a surprise?Happy to see "Homer and Marge" make the list! Unfortunate that you couldn't get the rights to "Polkamon" and "You're Pitiful" (Atlantic Records still sucks!) I was definitely hoping for a fleshed-out version of a parody (or two) that we'd only heard live before, but this track listing is still very solid. Can't wait for the box set to arrive around Thanksgiving!
Disappointed. Never going to listen to the stuff from TV shows (Milo Murphy, 30 Rock etc.) other than Pac Man none of the rest is especially rare or necessary.
How can you be having so much fun and keep a look on your face like you're bored and downright bemused? Because you're a fantastic actor, that's why!
Running With Scissors! There is no joke or pun to be had here, as this comment serves the sole purpose of showing that I have been a fan long enough to remember an album other than his most recent one. Thank you for your time, fellow Weirdling.
scrambler+adult = amusement..lol. NOT. Loved this ride as a kid, but as an adult, well lets just say it was a bad idea...LOL funny
What if I just want it on digital? I've bought all your albums, in some cases multiple times in multiple formats. I listen to something from your catalog every day. I really can't justify spending another $300 to get another copy of music I already have. But I'd love to get the rarities, and other tracks that are not included in your studio releases. And here's the kicker -- I don't even want them for free. I want to buy them. Is there a way for me to do that?
I already went into a frenzy and bought up all your CD's a while back. Is there a chance that the demos/rarities CD will get a separate release?
oh my, I wish I could afford it!! You were my late husband's favorite artist- He had me play "I love my pancreas" at his funeral service and made me promise to hand out the words so everyone could sing and not be sad!! Thank you for being you!
I'd never watched this until the other day. My kids were watching it and I could have sworn I heard Weird Al.I was happy to be right. The show is pretty good too.
I thought I was starting to lose my mind. I seen 5 episodes OnDemand (never home to actually watch it) and not another one. I was starting to think something happened with the contract.
Is it even better than Australias traditional chocolate malt flavoured breakfast drink? It's not made of meat though, but i suppose you could put it on meat to make "Meat Milo"?
I found this way back in the Napster days. Best unreleased Al song out there. Glad it's finally getting on an album. Will we get "Won't eat prunes again" or "Still Billy Joel to me"?
Please please please let Medium Rarities be available on it's own. I've spent a lifetime as a Weird Al fan and already own all your albums.
It's been released before. It was available on one of the yearly CD's you got from The Demento Society back in the 90's. Each one was usually promoted as having a rare Weird Al song.
Funniest thing about the Fat makeup is that it was made to look outrageous in the 80s, but now it's just what the average American looks like.
Ridiculous no way ridiculously cool maybe. Look you can have different faces and clothing even a freaking donut. Maybe a couple more magnets like a box of one dozen starving crazed weasels or a supplies closet but who am I to judge.
I may spring for this ridiculous collection, even though I have a ridiculous amt. of CD's and cassettes....mostly from Dr. Demento days!! Just the cassettes, not CD's....they're you'res!!
Riggles holds no candle to you, Al. That song lacked the proper cadence much of the time and he didn't rhyme with the words and mimic the theme of the original song like your songs do. You played to your section well as expected.
Weird Al: I love you and you are my hero. I've always though rob riggle was good, but after his collaboration with you, he's been upgraded to great.
I own every album that Weird Al has ever put out, ever since my dad gave me "In 3-D" when I was about six or seven. I will be owning this set as well. Al deserves every penny for providing such awesomeness over his career.
I can't buy this because you're not dead yet. You'll just make another album and my set will be completely worthless, just like that Jurassic Park Trilogy DVD box set I bought back in 2004. Screw you, Jurassic World!
Ok so here is a 2 part question I just want to throw out there, does anybody else listen to a song on the radio or other device and realize you're singing the lyrics to The Weird Al version instead of the original song... I would find it interesting to know what was the first album that got you hooked? Me I liked 3-D but what I really started jammin was Dare to be stupid!
Weird Al, catch the new LG spot. Left screen back in black, arms crossed hat behind the blue drum set. That's my coworker and friend of film in California at Stockton Orlando Jose. I was watching tv with family when the spot aired.
I love that I first met you the night you premiered on Comedy Bang Bang amd that I am going to meet you again the day after the Finale.
Yeah, pretty sure we'd all be reduced to stammering fools upon meeting Weird Al. His awesomeness shuts us all down. Weird Al for president 2020. Let's make America weird again.
My son and I got to visit Al and the guys on their bus while they had some post-show pizza in 2001. Al let my son, then 8, tell him all about his own hobby making parodies, encouraging him to keep it up. Nicest. Guy. Ever. Back then, you didn't know what your photo would look like until you got it back from the developer. 💕💕💕
I think Al was as excited to meet me as I was to meet him way back in 1988. Must have been due to my choice of apparel. 😋
My brother Al plays acordian, and plays in a rock band in the twin cities. My brother John was taught how to play the concertina from Werd Al's father.
When I was in my 20's, some of the guys in youth group told me I looked a lot like you, now I look more like a cross between Doug Henning and Bruce Baum.
Wow...still going? You've missed some obvious one, man. Like, "Trollin' in my '64" based upon...what was it? Dr. Dre's old stuff from The Chronic. Yes, that would open up the argument of going without the fresh but sometimes...eh, what do I know? Here. Have a mildly fresh song. Song!:---"Activated"By Cher Lloyd(I'm charged up, I'm getting activated) (I'm charged up, I'm getting activated) Heads high, kill 'em with a no-no-no-no Inside, that's how we be Inside, tell 'em we don't want no photos Let 'em talk, let 'em talk, 'bout me No fucks, swinging from the balcony with Two cups, one in each hand So up, tell the DJ hit the button Load it up, load it up, my man Leave me unattended, I'm an animal Juice and gin, I'm mixin' all my chemicals Uh-uh-uh-uh, I'm running out of syllables 1, 2, 3, 4 I'm about to let it go They like ooh they like ooh Baby, just wait on it When I do the damn thing, just watch me When I do the damn thing, just watch me They like ooh they like ooh Hold up, I ain't done yet When I do the damn thing, just watch me When I do the damn thing, just watch me (I'm charged up, I'm getting activated) (I'm charged up, I'm getting activated) Gold links, that's what I call chain reaction Don’t think we gon' slow down This drink threw me into automatic Revvin' up, revvin' up, lights out Vroom...They don't see me comin'!
